About

Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible community members.

Boys & Girls Club of Lewis County operates the Boys & Girls Club, Robert W. Balmelli Clubhouse on Jackson Highway in Chehalis and the in-school club at Jefferson Lincoln Elementary in Centralia.

A Safe Place to Learn and Grow

Boys & Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow – all while having fun. It is the place where great futures are started each and every day.

In every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares about them.

Boys & Girls Clubs is an after and out of school program that offer that and more. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence.

Boys & Girls Clubs can take different forms in each city. Sometimes they are stand alone clubhouses. Sometimes they are in schools or other public buildings.

In our case, we’re very fortunate to have a clubhouse in the PAC complex just south of Chehalis on Jackson Highway as well as a school site inside Jefferson Lincoln Elementary in Centralia. Our Chehalis Clubhouse facility consists of a GYM, Kitchen, Game Room, Art Room, Innovation Station, Tech Room, & Teen Room. We also have access to PAC 1 and 2 when they are not being used by other people.
